Director of Clinical Education, Assistant Professor
Department of Occupational Therapy
I have been a faculty member at Seton Hall University since the OT program began in
1997. As the Director of Clinical Education I strive to develop and maintain excellent
fieldwork opportunities for occupational therapy students. I am certified as a fieldwork
educator "trainer" through the American Occupational Therapy Association and work
closely with our fieldwork educators on their supervisory knowledge and skills.
I teach courses in child development and early intervention. My specialty area of clinical practice is working with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families within their natural environment. I have a post professional certificate in Infant Mental Health through the YCS Institute for Infant and Preschool Mental Health. I am certified in the Developmental, Individual Differences and Relationship Based Model (DIR)(Floortime) and work closely with the Interdisciplinary Council for Developmental and Learning Disorders (ICDL) as a certified occupational therapist and facilitator. I bring this model to my teaching in the OT program.
