Wednesday, September 29th, 2021
Seton Hall's College of Nursing has announced the fall information session schedule for prospective students interested in pursuing a graduate nursing degree. Infosession participants will be able to learn more about each program, connect and engage with the individual program directors, and learn about the application process and scholarship opportunities.
Multiple information sessions will be held throughout the fall for the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (Ph.D.) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.) programs as well as the Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (M.S.N.) program.
"Prospective students, especially busy nurses, find these are a great way to connect with the program directors on their own schedule." said Gabby Zengewald, Director of Graduate Admissions for the College of Nursing. "This is an opportunity to get important information straight from the source. At the end of each session, you'll be able to walk away confident in your next steps toward earning your degree."
Students interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing will learn about the program's newly revised, research-intensive and education-focused curriculum. Designed to prepare nurse scholars for a lifetime of advanced research in clinical practice or academia, our flagship Ph.D. program is helping to shape the next generation of intellectual leadership in nursing. Through scholarly inquiry, graduates of the program will continue the pipeline of nurse scientists to advance knowledge in nursing education, clinical practice and administration.
