Seton Hall Giving Day 2026

2026 Giving Day Mark

Giving Day will take place April 22-23 uniting alumni, families, students, faculty, and staff in support of every area of the University.

Seton Hall University is excited to announce its ninth annual Giving Day, taking place April 22 and 23, 2026. Organized by the Division of University Advancement, the two-day fundraising campaign unites alumni, families, students, faculty, and staff in support of every area of the University—schools and colleges, the athletics department, student services, scholarships, and more.

This year’s event arrives at a meaningful moment, roughly six months after the launch of For All, Forever: A Campaign for a Greater Seton Hall. Every gift made during Giving Day counts toward the comprehensive campaign, and strong participation will reflect the breadth of support behind Seton Hall’s future. Last year, more than 2,400 donors came together to contribute $2.2 million to the University’s annual funds and endowments—a testament to the generosity of the Seton Hall community.

In keeping with a tradition that honors the University’s founding year, the primary goal is to secure gifts from 1,856 donors over the two days. Once that milestone is reached, a group of alumni and donors has generously committed to a $500,000 contribution to Seton Hall.

To further inspire participation, this year’s campaign features a robust lineup of matches and challenges from leadership and major gift-level donors, with all schools, colleges, and key University priorities represented. The 1856 Challenge anchors the effort with a six-figure incentive, and deans from the College of Arts and Sciences, Stillman School of Business, the College of Nursing, the School of Health and Medical Sciences, the College of Human Development, Culture and Media, and the School of Diplomacy and International Relations have each committed additional funds contingent on their schools reaching set participation goals. Further matches will support the Seton Hall Fund, Seton Hall Athletics—including men’s and women’s basketball revenue share—and For All, Forever priorities, including the RISE Endowed Scholarship, the Food Security fund, and select centers and institutes.

Students getting ice cream at The Scream Truck

The Scream Truck will be parked outside the University Center from noon to 2 p.m. on April 22 serving soft-serve ice cream to students, faculty, and staff in celebration of Giving Day.

On day one, The Scream Truck will be parked outside the University Center from noon to 2 p.m., serving soft-serve ice cream to students, faculty, and staff in celebration of Giving Day. Student clubs, organizations, teams, and members of the Student Alumni Association (SAA) will also be on the green, connecting with peers and sharing why the fundraising effort matters. Additionally, the Alumni Board of Directors and the Young Alumni Council are each playing an active role in promoting this year’s campaign and reminding the Seton Hall community of what Giving Day makes possible. The generosity of alumni and donors shapes nearly every dimension of student life, from scholarships and academic resources to athletic facilities and learning spaces.

Donors can make an early gift ahead of the two-day event by visiting www.shu.edu/givingday. Apple Pay, Cash App, PayPal, and Venmo are all accepted online. Donors may also call (973) 378-9801 or mail a check to 457 Centre St., South Orange, NJ, 07079.
