The Crossings: Seton Hall Panel at the Collegium for African American Research Conference in Berlin, Germany

Professors at Panel

Professors Angela West, Larry Greene, Alan Delozier, and Maxim Matusevich.

In March 2025, a group of Seton Hall University professors traveled to the bi-annual conference of the Collegium for African American Research (CAAR), convened at Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. It is very rarer to have a conference panel at one of the field’s most prestigious scholarly gatherings composed entirely of faculty from one university. The four presenters were proud to showcase their research and represent Seton Hall at such an important venue. The trip was made possible thanks to generous support by the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Department of History and the University Libraries.

The four participants included professors Larry Greene (History Department), Maxim Matusevich (History Department), Alan Delozier (University Libraries), and Angela West (Department of Religion and Center for Holocaust and Genocide Study at Drew University).
