Instructions for Undergraduate Students

Instructions for undergraduate students: Register online by your Fall 2023 anticipated class according to your last name. Determine class level by adding total earned credits to Spring 2023 credits in progress and any Summer 2023 credits for which you have already registered. For example:  if you have 45 total credits completed (add up SHU earned credits, transfer credits, AP or CLEP credits) and you are taking 18 credits in Spring 2023 and are enrolled for 3 Summer 2023 credits, register as a Junior (45 + 18 + 3 = 66).

Web Registration: The earliest time you can register online is listed in the grid above.  Thereafter, you will have ongoing access to online registration for schedule adjustments. The time slots above apply to both day and evening students, including non-matriculated students.

System availability is 24/7 except for Sundays from 12:01 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Students needing assistance with registration may contact the Office of the Registrar via e-mail at [email protected].

The Registrar’s Office is located in Bayley Hall with the following office hours during the April 12 – 25 registration period:  8:45 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. (Monday through Friday).

Note: Summer 2023 registration will remain open during Fall 2023 registration.
