Our Guiding Values – Compassion and Service
At Seton Hall, our guiding values shape who we become. Inspired by Saint Elizabeth Seton's spirit of giving, the Division of Volunteer Efforts (DOVE), under the leadership of Michelle Peterson, puts compassion and service into action in our community and around the world. In this video, see how students answer the call to serve and discover how compassion can shape their purpose.
Our Guiding Values
The enduring values embodied in the life of Mother Seton continue to guide us toward a rich and vibrant future. More than 50 years after the canonization of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, we remain committed to a faith-based education of the whole person, fostering a diverse, inclusive, and mission-driven community. Seton Hall’s strategic plan is animated by six guiding value pairs, rooted in the timeless principles of our Catholic tradition and the life and legacy of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton.
