Seton Hall University’s Center for Sports Media hosted a panel discussion on Brittney Griner’s imprisonment in Russia a day before a deal to release the WNBA star in a prisoner swap was announced.
Presented by the Center for Sports Media, this event featured sports icon Billie Jean King and sports industry leader Ilana Kloss.

Established in Fall 2021, the Center for Sports Media within the College of Human Development, Culture, and Media provides an interdisciplinary foundation for academic training and theory with practical experience pertinent to excellence in the Sports Media discipline.

Kenny Albert is a versatile play-by-play professional and a veteran in sports broadcasting. He will visit Seton Hall to discuss the basics of the craft. Albert comes from a family of sports broadcasters and has worked decades of NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB games as well as Olympic events.
