Department of Computing and Decision Sciences
Professor Jones joined the Department of Computing and Decision Sciences in 2023. Prior to coming to Seton Hall, and continuing at this time, Professor Jones serves as a legal technology consultant and the chief operating officer of Xerdict Group LLC (a Cloud-based web legal case and document management systems). He was a former chief technologist for a corporate defense law firm operating primarily in the area of mass tort/resolution counsel representation, the former director of applications development for Bristol-Myers Squibb, and an active volunteer with the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) in the areas of security, strategic vendor liaison and document management. Professor Jones has extensive experience writing for top-tier publications in the legal domain, describing industry best practices, trends and recommendations.
