Kishon C. Hickman, Sr., Ed.D. joins the faculty in the Law Enforcement Executive Leadership Graduate Program. He is a retired lieutenant from the New York City Police Department and has held a myriad of assignments, most recently as the Commanding Officer of the Information Technology Bureau Investigations Team, as well as other posts in patrol and community affairs during the course of his 20-years in law enforcement. He earned an undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from NYU's Tandon School of Engineering, a master's degree in Human Resources Training and Development from here at Seton Hall University, and a Doctorate from St. John Fisher University where he examined the police officers who adorned themselves with body-worn cameras in New York City.
Prior to law enforcement, Dr. Hickman taught math at Rice High School in Harlem, NY. He is the current President of the Criminal Justice Educators Association of New York State (CJEANYS) and appears live as a police subject matter expert for Africa-Online Media Corporation Television. Dr. Hickman has a 15-year-old son named Kishon Jr. who wants to attend Seton Hall and major in computer science.
