U.S. News Ranks Stillman Top 15 in Catholic, Top 25 Percent in Nation - Seton Hall University

The Stillman School of Business undergraduate program ranked 108 in the nation – and No. 2 in New Jersey – in the 2023 Best Colleges guide from U.S. News & World Report.

Among Catholic universities, Seton Hall’s undergraduate business program ranked in the Top 15 nationally, tied for number 11.

In total, U.S. News measured 516 business programs across the United States for its ranking, with Stillman placing in the top 22 percent of all schools. Among area universities, Seton Hall is ranked ahead of Rutgers-Newark, Stevens Institute of Technology and NJIT as well New York's Yeshiva, St. John’s and Hofstra.

"I am so proud of the Stillman School’s latest US News undergraduate program ranking, which reflects the perception of our program’s quality as judged by our peers – deans and associate deans at other AACSB-accredited schools of business," said Professor Joyce Strawser, Dean of the Stillman School of Business. "The fact that experts in business education are evaluating our program as being of high quality is quite meaningful, and this latest ranking adds to the validation that we have already received from a number of external sources."

The Stillman School is among the select programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) — the highest standard of achievement for business schools, which is earned by only 5 percent of schools worldwide granting business degrees at the bachelor's level or higher.

The Stillman School is regularly ranked among the best business schools in the nation.

Recognized by The Princeton Review as one of the top programs in the country, the Stillman School of Business rose to 39th in the nation in the Poets&Quants most recent ranking, the "Best Undergraduate Business Schools 2022." The school was also ranked the top business school in New Jersey for Alumni Experience.

A leading source for business education news, Poets&Quants for Undergrads based the rankings on data related to three equally weighted areas: Admissions Standards, Academic Experience and Employment Outcomes – areas they consider to be "critical factors of the quality of the educational experience."

In a report and ranking from Georgetown University in 2022 that focused on return on investment for college students, graduates of Seton Hall's master's accounting programs were found to have the fifth highest return on investment (ROI) among all accounting programs in the U.S., ranking the school's graduate accounting programs #1 in New Jersey.

In addition, the five years in a row. The Buccino Leadership Institute at Seton Hall was named the 2022 recipient of the Outstanding Program award by the Association of Leadership Educators (ALE).

The #5 ranking reported by Georgetown provided yet another perspective, focusing on the strength of our graduate accounting programs in terms of their ability to deliver value on the investment that students make in their education."
