Seton Hall University Launches Historic Philanthropic Campaign: For All, Forever

Seton Hall University is proud to announce the launch of For All, Forever: A Campaign for a Greater Seton Hall, the most ambitious philanthropic effort in the University's history. With a fundraising goal of $225 million, the campaign will build on the university's 170 year legacy of academic excellence, expand opportunities for the next generation of Setonians and position Seton Hall as a leader among the nation's Catholic universities.

The campaign's name, For All, Forever, speaks to the breadth of its impact and the enduring nature of its mission. It reflects Seton Hall's commitment to serving every student, every discipline and every community it touches.

Seton Hall officially announces the For All, Forever campaign with a fundraising goal of $225 million.

The university marked the beginning of this public phase of For All, Forever with a special launch event on September 19, 2025, that welcomed trusted alumni, donors and friends of the university back to campus.

"No matter when you first arrived here, whether fifty years ago or five, Seton Hall has always been a place where students take their dreams, their potential, and their God-given talents and transform them into lives of purpose, hope, and spiritual and professional growth," said Monsignor Joseph R. Reilly, President of Seton Hall University during Friday's event. "Think about how this university has impacted your life. Then imagine the generations of students who will one day stand where you once stood, made stronger because of what we build together."

The evening featured student-led activities ranging from medical and nursing demonstrations to podcast interviews in the University's state-of-the art media studio. Guests also had the opportunity to hear directly from distinguished faculty, staff and students whose Seton Hall experiences have been deeply shaped by the generosity of donor support.

Shaped by the entire Seton Hall community, the campaign centers on three strategic priorities:

  • Preparing Leaders Now expands access to scholarships and removes barriers to a Seton Hall education.
  • Enriching Our Education focuses on the University’s academic centers and institutes, signature spaces, and experiential learning opportunities that prepare students to thrive in a changing world.
  • Strengthening Our Cornerstones includes growing endowed positions and research initiatives that attract top talent and drive discovery.

"For five years, we have been in the early stages of the campaign, and we are stunned by the level of support we've already seen," said Campaign Co-Chair, Brian Fitzpatrick '75. "This momentum gives us confidence that our community will unite in a show of unprecedented generosity."

"This is a defining moment for Seton Hall," said Jon Paparsenos '99, Vice President of University Advancement. "Every gift, no matter the size, is an investment in our students, our mission and the communities our graduates go on to serve. Together, we will shape a stronger, more vibrant Seton Hall, one that continues to embody our Catholic values and academic excellence."
