Fr. Stanley Jaki International Congress at Seton Hall University  

The Department of Catholic Studies anFr. Stanley Jakid the Department of Physics are proud to co-sponsor: The Fr. Stanley Jaki International Congress on April 15, 2015 at Seton Hall University. Seton Hall faculty and students are strongly encouraged to present.

The Program Committee of the Stanley Jaki Foundation International Conference is soliciting the submission of scholarly papers in the areas of:

  • The relationship of Christian faith and the natural sciences
  • The history of science, particularly the contribution of medieval Christian culture
  • The relationship of physics and metaphysics
  • Catholic perspectives on creation and evolution
  • An exploration of Étienne Gilson's views about the method of realism and the loss of formal and final causality after Descartes and Galileo
  • Insights into the Mind-Body problem based on a Christian anthropology
  • The role of the theology of creation as a field in fundamental theology

Manuscripts should be no longer than 15 pages in length and conform to the 16th edition of The Chicago Manual of Style (2010). They should be e-mailed to the Program Chairman, the Reverend Joseph Laracy ([email protected]), by March 20
