Amazon Locker Now Available Behind Mooney Hall

Amazon Locker

Amazon Locker "SHU Mooney 1" is located behind Mooney Hall.

Seton Hall University has added a new convenience for any campus community member with the installation of an Amazon Locker, located on the backside of Mooney Hall. The self-service locker provides a secure, flexible and easy way to receive Amazon packages right on campus any time of day or night.

The Amazon Locker functions as a personal delivery point, giving Seton Hall students and employees a reliable alternative to traditional package delivery. By selecting the Locker as a delivery option at checkout, users can pick up their items at their own convenience, without worrying about missed deliveries or limited mailroom hours.

“We’re always looking for ways to enhance the on-campus experience,” said a Victoria Pivovarnick, associate vice president for Facilities and Business Affairs. “The Amazon Locker gives our students and employees more flexibility and convenience, especially for those living and working on campus.”

When placing an order, students and employees can add a new delivery location and choose “Amazon Locker - SHU Mooney 1” for pickup.

Once a package is delivered, Amazon sends an email or text message containing a unique pickup code. Recipients can then visit the Locker, enter the code on the touchscreen and retrieve their package instantly from an automated open locker.

The Locker’s location was selected for its central accessibility, ensuring it’s easy to reach from multiple areas of campus. To locate the locker, visit the backside of Mooney Hall facing the Walsh Library.

The service offers 24/7 access, allowing community members to collect their packages at a time that fits their schedule.

In addition to enhancing convenience, the Locker adds a layer of security for package deliveries, keeping items safely stored until the recipient retrieves them.
