Celebrate Pirate Pride at Hall Homecoming and Family Weekend

Homecoming Family PictureSeton Hall University will host Hall Homecoming and Family Weekend 2026 from Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4, welcoming alumni, parents, families, students, faculty, staff and friends to campus for a weekend filled with innovation, tradition and community.

For parents, Homecoming and Family Weekend is a chance to experience Seton Hall with their students and see the community they have built on campus. For alumni, it's a chance to reconnect with old friends and classmates, revisit familiar spots and see just how much the University has grown. For everyone, it's an opportunity to experience the Seton Hall of today and connect with the students who are shaping its future.

This year's celebration puts students at the heart of the weekend, giving families a chance to experience campus through a student's eyes and giving alumni an opportunity to meet the newest generation of Pirates. From carnival games on the Green to performances by student groups, the weekend showcases Pirate Pride.

The festivities begin Friday evening with ways for members of the Seton Hall community to catch up with friends and classmates through affinity gatherings and the annual Student Life Movie Night. Saturday brings the heart of the celebration, with Mass in the historic University Chapel, Men’s and Women’s Basketball Showcase, faculty-led class samplers and plenty of ways to connect with fellow Pirates. A returning favorite, the Oktoberfest Tent and Mocktail Station will offer seasonal food and beverages for all ages. The weekend concludes Sunday with the beloved Jazz Brunch, featuring student musicians, a champagne toast and jazz-age styling.

"Homecoming and Family Weekend is one of those special times when you can see the entire Seton Hall community come together," said Anthony Bellucci, M.B.A. '18, associate vice president of Alumni Engagement and Philanthropy. "Whether you're an alumnus returning to campus, a parent experiencing Seton Hall alongside your student or a student creating traditions of your own, this weekend is about celebrating the connections and sense of belonging that make Seton Hall so special. After welcoming a record crowd last year, we're excited to build on that momentum and create an even bigger experience for our Pirate community this fall."

Come see your Seton Hall, whether that means sitting on the Green with old friends, discovering your student's world, or meeting the Pirates writing the next chapter. Hall Homecoming and Family Weekend offers something for everyone. Join us to celebrate our Seton Hall community!
