Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology Lenten Reflection Series

Welcoming and Embracing the Stranger
Exploring the Art of French Painter James Tissot
Join us as we continue our Lenten tradition of daily meditations. This year, our reflections will be inspired by the art of French painter James Tissot (1836-1902), and the theme of Welcoming and Embracing the Stranger.
Day by day, we will share meditations and prayers that, with God's grace, will help us enter into the Lenten season in prayerful ways. We will focus on the meaning of being invited to journey with the Lord in his passion and death. These reflections are brought to you from our Preaching as Hospitality Formation Program here at the Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology.
Written by members of the ICSST and Seton Hall communities, and featuring some of Tissot's spiritual and religious works, the reflections will be shared through daily emails beginning on Ash Wednesday, February 18 and continuing through Easter Sunday, April 5. We will also post inspiring excerpts from these reflections on our Instagram and Facebook.
