First issued in November 2009, Faculty & Administration News (FAN) is a quarterly publication of Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology. The aim of this newsletter is to share with readers the many accomplishments of ICSST's faculty and administrators.

  • At Seton Hall University’s Celebration of Faculty Excellence, Reverend Roberto Ortiz, S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.), Ellen R. Scully, Ph.D., and Reverend Monsignor C. Anthony Ziccardi, S.S.L., S.T.D., honored; ICSST receives inaugural award for Outstanding Achievement in Assessment.
  • As part of its Pathways 4:12 Lilly grant initiative, ICSST unveils Profiles in Faith series, featuring voices, stories, and personal testimonies of its diverse student body.
  • ICSST’s Undergraduate Program in Catholic Theology hosts and participates in induction ceremony for 23 new members of Theta Alpha Kappa National Honor Society for Theology and Religious Studies.
  • Reverend Joseph R. Laracy, S.T.D., serves as program committee chair for 2024 Stanley Jaki International Congress and delivers presentation at this event co-sponsored by ICSST.
  • Timothy P. Fortin, Ph.D., continues service as coordinator of prison ministry religious services for the Archdiocese of Newark; presents personal story of faith at Seton Hall University’s student-faculty coffeehouse, Agape Latte.
  • Reverend Paweł Tomczyk, Ph.D., presents to young adults on “Theology of the Body,” for Seton Hall University Campus Ministry and for St. Paul Inside the Walls Diocesan Center for New Evangelization.
  • Reverend Mariusz Eugene R. Koch, C.F.R., M.Div., M.A., co-coordinates “Ten Miles with Jesus” pilgrimage, attended by more than 1,200 people.
  • Reverend Monsignor Gerard H. McCarren, S.T.D., as Censor Librorum, reviews 2025 Paulist Press Ordo, to be distributed to most US dioceses for use in church sacristies.
  • Reverend Christopher M. Ciccarino, K.C.H.S., S.S.L., S.T.D., serving on Working Committee to Oversee the Review of the 2020 Association of Theological Schools Standards of Accreditation.
  • Six publications, including book co-edited by Justin M. Anderson, Ph.D.
  • More than 50 pastoral and professional presentations.
