What's New in Microsoft 365 — November 2025

Microsoft OneNote: Retiring the “Refresh all on page” Button

To simplify the user experience, Microsoft is retiring the Refresh all on page button in the OneNote Meeting Details pane. Users can still insert updated meeting information by selecting the meeting again from the right pane. The change begins rolling out November 15 and completes by December 15, 2025.

Microsoft Lists: Mobile Apps Retirement

The Microsoft Lists mobile app for iOS and Android will be retired in mid-November 2025. The apps will be removed from the Apple App Store and Google Play, and existing users will no longer be able to open them. All data will remain accessible through the mobile browser experience or Microsoft Lists for Windows desktop. To access Lists in a mobile browser, navigate to SharePoint, tap the Microsoft 365 app launcher in the top left corner, select More apps and then choose Lists. app

Microsoft Teams: Choose Your Camera and Audio Devices
Microsoft Teams on iPad now lets users select external microphones, speakers and cameras directly from the pre-join screen and during meetings. This update makes it easier to switch between built-in and connected devices without changing iPad settings, giving users more flexibility and better control over their meeting experience.

Microsoft 365: Introducing Companion Apps (December 2025)

Microsoft is introducing new Microsoft 365 companion apps—People, Files and Calendar— designed to make it easier to stay organized and connected. These apps will appear on the Windows 11 taskbar and give quick access to your contacts, documents, and calendar events in one place.

The People app helps you find and connect with colleagues or classmates, the Files app lets you quickly locate and manage documents, and the Calendar app makes it easy to view and join meetings or classes. Soon you’ll be able to search for images in Teams chats and channels by message content, sender and where the image was shared.
