Ann Mayo

Ann Mayo is the founder of the Seton Hall Sports Poll and the director of the Stillman School's Center for Sport Management. A faculty associate in the Department of Management, her research interests include sports betting, the ethics of sport and intercollegiate athletics — interests that led to the creation of the sports poll.

Prior to the Stillman School of Business, Mayo served as an assistant dean and coordinator of external and alumni relations at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She was also an academic consultant to the Men's Basketball program at UNLV and an academic counselor in the Department of Athletics at Ohio State University. Mayo received her B.A. and M.A. from California State University and a Ph.D. from Ohio State University.
