School of Diplomacy alumna Nivah Odwori, M.A. '06, tragically lost her life in the January 12, 2010 Haiti earthquake while serving as a district coordinator with the U.N. Stabilization Mission. Inspired by Nivah's life of service, the Nivah Odwori Memorial Scholarship is established in her memory to support the educational pursuits of future School of Diplomacy students who strive to emulate Nivah's example of servant leadership in a global society.
Eligibility Requirements
- Enrolled as a full time undergraduate or graduate student at the School of Diplomacy and International Relations.
- Demonstrate academic excellence, with a minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Submit an essay describing how the applicant has demonstrated the qualities of "servant leadership" through activities on and off campus.
- Submit a resume
- Letter of recommendation from a person who knows of the applicant's servant leadership

Scholarships are now administered in Blackbaud Award Management (BAM), which can be accessed via PirateNet.
