Program: Program: The fund will provide an award to an undergraduate student who is academically
capable, demonstrates academic potential and/or financial need and embodies some of
the same qualities of Edward Walsh, as demonstrated in the response to the essay question.
Additional Information
This fund has been established to honor the memory of Edward Walsh ’87. Candidates for this award should embody the characteristics of how Edward lived his life – as a caring and value-centered individual who modeled the ideals of Seton Hall’s mission of servant leadership; a person of deep faith; a self-starter; a life-long learner; and a person who selflessly gave of himself in friendship and service to those who entered his life.
Eligibility Requirements
Preference will be given to a student who has completed their high school education at Whippany Park High School, Whippany, New Jersey. The recipient must be in/maintain good academic standing and exemplify the moral and ethical values of Edward Walsh and Seton Hall University.
