Additionally, this scholarship is not guaranteed for all applying legacy students.

Applying students must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a current Seton Hall undergraduate student (rising sophomore, junior, senior)
  2. Have a parental, grandparental, or sibling relationship to a Seton Hall graduate
  3. Minimum 3.0 GPA

Application Procedures

To be considered for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship, students will complete an application which will include explanation of alumni connection(s), academic achievements, community service, your experience at Seton Hall, etc. Applications will be reviewed and awarded by the Seton Hall University Alumni Board of Directors. Applications are reviewed and notified by the first week of June. Scholarship recipients will be expected to complete a 20-hour internship with the Department of Alumni Engagement and Philanthropy throughout the course of the academic year the scholarship has been awarded.
