John Santoro
Adjunct Professor, Strategic Communications Leadership
College of Human Development Culture and Media
After graduating from Seton Hall with a master's degree in corporate and public communication
in 1998, I began as an adjunct professor that same year and now teach through Seton
Worldwide, in the Master's in Strategic Communication Leadership Program. My specialties
include HR communication, speechwriting, crisis communications and leadership communications.
I am currently VP, Executive Communications, with Pfizer's Policy, External Affairs
and Communications Group, based in New York City. I specifically work with executives
in the scientific and medical arenas. Prior to Pfizer, I worked as the Chief Speechwriter
for Warner-Lambert, and previous to that, as Creative Director for the communications
consulting firm of Brecker & Merryman.
I serve on the national board of directors for The Compassionate Friends, the nation's
largest self-help group for families who have suffered the death of a child from any
cause and at any age. I am also the co-founder of the Paula Rosina Santoro Foundation.
