Lori Wilt holds a Ph.D. in Nursing from Seton Hall University. Her dissertation focused on the relationships among school nurse to student ratios, self-efficacy for type 1 diabetes management and glycemic control in adolescents. Dr. Wilt’s Master of Science in Nursing degree from Seton Hall University focused on the area of school nursing. She holds both state and national certifications in school nursing. Dr. Wilt also holds certification as a Certified Nurse Educator from the National League for Nursing. Her area of expertise is in adult and school nursing. Dr. Wilt is a manuscript reviewer for the Journal of School Nursing, and has participated on an expert panel of school nurses nationwide, for the purpose of identifying school nurse sensitive indicators. Dr. Wilt is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International and is the current treasurer (FY 2016-2020) for the Gamma Nu Chapter of the organization.
She is a member of the American Nurses Association, Eastern Nursing Research Society, National Association of School Nurses, New Jersey State Nurses Association, New Jersey State School Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Gamma Nu Chapter, Seton Hall University, and the Sussex County School Nurses Association.
