I am the senior member of the department and hold dual appointments in finance and in economics. My undergraduate degree is in accounting and my Ph.D. is in finance. I also hold the Chartered Life Underwriter designation. I have been a visiting scholar in China and in Russia and received the Faculty Service Award from the University. My research interests include financial markets, banking, and investments.
