Father Alexis Coffi made his solemn profession in the Order of Preachers in 2016 after several years of religious formation. He was ordained to the priesthood in Valencia, Spain, in 2018. He carried out his pastoral and academic work in the Dominican Republic as Professor of Church History and Patrology at the Dominican Fathers’ Center of Theology affiliated with The Angelicum University in Rome (2018-2021) and as Professor of Church History at the diocesan major seminary, Santo Tomás de Aquino, in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (2019-2021). Currently incardinated in the Diocese of Paterson, NJ, he is the parochial vicar at St. Anthony of Padua in Passaic, where he has collaborated with diocesan lay formation.
