Dr. Fox has taught graduate and undergraduate management at the Stillman School of Business since 2021. He brings 25 years of experience as an executive for national retail and wholesale brands.
Dr. Fox’s experience lies in operations, sales and marketing in the consumer goods market. He has a history of success in building teams of exceptional people. His experience is focused both on wholesale and direct-to-consumer markets. He has specialized in turning around financially stressed companies by designing and implementing new strategies. His direct-to-consumer marketing expertise includes strategic planning, ecommerce, new product development and marketing.
Dr. Fox has been the CEO of Micro-Mark, in New Jersey, since 2016. Micro-Mark develops
and sells precision power tools, hand tools and supplies to high-end makers and craft
people. He is the former CEO/president of Jackson & Perkins, Park Seed, Wayside Gardens
and several other direct-to-consumer brands.
An entrepreneur who has started two companies with successful exits, Dr. Fox also
has been a consultant for online retailers, non-profits and B2B businesses. He brings
real-world experience into the classroom daily.
His area of research is the study of competitive advantage assessment tools. He also is a former NFL wide receiver playing for the Buffalo Bills, the Kansas City Chiefs and the St. Louis Cardinals.
