Dr. Chander Kant joined Seton Hall University as an Associate Professor in Economics in 1989. He has taught undergraduate courses including Intermediate Macroeconomics, Economic Development and International Economics. His recent research interests are on long run economic growth, convergence/divergence and institutions and economic development. In the last five years, he has published his research in the Encyclopedia of Globalization, The Journal of Policy Modeling, Economic Globalization and Asia (a book), and at the Global Finance Conference 2005 Proceedings; and presented his research (in addition to Global Finance Conference 2005) at Western Economic Association International Conference 2005 and QQASS Conference on Macro and Financial/Econometrics 2006.
