Gabby Zengewald, Ph.D., joined CHDCM after spending more than eleven years in Seton Hall University's College of Nursing. Her experience is vast and includes enrollment management, regulatory compliance, strategic partnerships, and student success initiatives. Her work contributed to significant enrollment growth, expanded clinical and industry partnerships, strengthened retention efforts, and enhanced the graduate student experience through innovative programming and individualized student support.

Her research interests include organizational communication in higher education, student engagement and persistence, digital learning innovation, generative artificial intelligence in education, health communication, and professional identity development. She has presented scholarly work on communication in healthcare settings and completed her doctoral research examining faculty and department chair perceptions of organizational communication in the post-COVID higher education environment.

Dr. Zengewald earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership, Management, and Policy and a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from Seton Hall University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science from The College of New Jersey.
