Marisa Handren, M.A.

Marisa Handren is an adjunct professor in the Instructional Design and Technology
program at Seton Hall. She has written and currently teaches courses for Literature
for Children and Young Adults and Production of Instructional Resources II. Prior
to becoming a Media Specialist, Marisa worked extensively in the music industry in
publishing, marketing and public relations. She studied Journalism and Public Relations,
graduating with a B.A. from Rider University in 2001, and obtained her M.A. in Instructional
Design and Technology/School Library Media Specialist from Seton Hall University in
2010. During the 2015-2016 school year, Marisa was recognized as an "Education Service
Professional of the Year" in the Flemington-Raritan School District where she is currently
a Media Specialist.
