Felella Kiamco- Millman, PhD, MSN, RN 

Dr. Millman came to Seton Hall University with a diverse background in clinical and nursing education. She started at SHU as the Assistant Academic Director of the RN BSN Program, the university’s first undergraduate online nursing program. Currently she is the Director of the Non-Traditional Nursing Programs wherein she acts as a liaison between online students and their faculty, track advisers, program directors as well as Seton Hall’s on-campus student services and resources. She provides administrative support to faculty and students in the following online nursing programs: RN BSN (also as track adviser), MSN Nurse Practitioner (Adult – Gerontological and Pediatric tracks), MSN in Health Systems Administration, MSN in Case Management and the Doctorate in Nursing Practice. 

Her clinical background is in critical care and cardiac rehabilitation with main interests in cardiovascular health and disease prevention, particularly in women. Her doctoral dissertation focused on nurses’ intentions to educate women about heart disease. She has led lunch and learn sessions at the College of Nursing advocating the GO RED for Women Campaign and she continues to raise awareness of heart disease in women. In 2014, Dr. Millman accompanied a group of nursing students traveling to the Philippines for a combined cultural and community health experience. This study abroad program was designed in collaboration with the University of the Philippines College of Nursing. Dr. Millman serves in the university’s Online Teaching and Learning Committee.
