Assistant Dean for Student Success
College of Nursing

Elizabeth Hoehn is the Assistant Dean for Student Success in the College of Nursing, providing advising, academic coaching, resource referral and additional services to students as they navigate the rigorous Nursing curriculum. Before this role, she worked as a Freshman Studies Mentor, serving as the Coordinator for Student Leadership and directing the Summer Reading program. 

Asst. Dean Hoehn also teaches Core English I and Core English II through the First Year Writing Program. Publications include "The ePortfolio: Creating Significant Connections for Student Engagement" within NACADA's 2013 Peer Advising and Mentoring Best Practices Monograph. Assistant Dean Hoehn was also honored with the 2014 Advisor of the Year award for her work recruiting, training and supervising the Freshman Studies Peer Advisers. 

Additionally, Asst. Dean Hoehn is enrolled in the Higher Education Leadership, Management and Policy doctoral program here at Seton Hall. Research interests include first year experience programs, student learning outcomes and college readiness.
