His Eminence, Joseph William Cardinal Tobin, C.Ss.R., - keynote speaker for the May 25 commencement ceremony (keynote address delivered by Msgr. Joseph Reilly, Rector Dean of the Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology)
Both Ambassador Rooney and Cardinal Tobin received an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters, along with Kenneth F. Kunzman, LL.B., former chairman of the Connell Foley Executive Committee.
