The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry is the intellectual home to 11 faculty, over 80 undergraduate and 100 graduate students. Our location in the heart of the tri-state area affords unique opportunities for interaction with the many local chemical-related industries. We offer undergraduate majors in chemistry (ACS and non-ACS Certified) and biochemistry, and we offer graduate studies and research in analytical, inorganic, organic, physical and biochemistry, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration.
