The Cross and the Campus: Learning the Love of Christ

For the fourth consecutive year, Immaculate Conception Seminary School of Theology was pleased to sponsor a series of reflections during Lent 2022, titled The Cross and the Campus: Learning the Love of Christ This Lent.

Dianne Traflet, J.D., S.T.D., Associate Dean for Graduate Studies and Administration and Assistant Professor of Pastoral Theology, offered email reflections using visio divina, a slow, contemplative prayer which uses an image or piece of art as a focus point.

Images of 40 campus sites from Seton Hall's beautiful South Orange, New Jersey campus were included in each reflection, inviting participants to ponder the parts of campus that help us to "Learn the Love of Christ."

We invite you to join on your own Lenten journey across the Seton Hall University campus by navigating the images and their corresponding reflections below.
