St. Paul and Lectio Divina
In June 2026, Preaching as Hospitality hosted a day of reflection, "The Art of Welcome: Visio Divina and St. Paul," led by Fr. Dominic Ciriaco, D.Min., as part of a "St. Paul and Hospitality" summer course taught by Prof. Gregory Glazov, D.Phil. (Oxon.). In addition to a Visio Divina with paintings and architecture, Fr. Ciriaco led a Lectio Divina on select passages from the Epistles that highlight St. Paul's mission of hospitable evangelization.

Sr. Anne Flanagan on St. Paul's Collaboration
In May 2026, Preaching as Hospitality hosted a day of reflection, "Welcoming the Word: St. Paul, Women and the Practice of Hospitality," led by Sister Anne Joan Flanagan, FSP. From St. Thecla of Iconium to St. Phoebe the Deacon, Sister Anne shed light on the stories of women who aided St. Paul’s mission of evangelization, as well as several imperatives and perspectives for collaboration.

Bishop Chau and Deaf Hospitality
In April 2026, Preaching as Hospitality hosted an evening of reflection, "Love has a Language: St. Francis de Sales, Hospitable Preaching and Deaf Belonging," which featured Bishop Pedro Bismarck Chau, D.D., Auxiliary Bishop of Newark, NJ, and Chaplain for Deaf Ministry of the Archdiocese of Newark. As the only priest in the Archdiocese with American Sign Language (ASL) experience, Bishop Chau spoke passionately about the need to reach out to the deaf community who "really needs to hear the Word of God."
