About the Event
Immersion II is a one-day session conducted on-campus, specifically for Online Nurse Practitioner (NP) students. These focused learning sessions are designed to supplement and complement the first clinical sequence of each NP specialty track. Sessions include skills lectures, student demonstrations of physical assessment skills, hands-on or return demonstrations of specific clinical skills and procedures, as well as support didactic or lecture sessions relevant to each specialty tracks. Specific to Immersion II are sessions with teaching associates- as patients, showing students how to conduct an examination of a male and female patient (GTA and MUTA sessions).

You may park in the main parking area accessed only through the Metro Boulevard entrance, not Route 3. Don’t be alarmed with all the construction. Once on campus please proceed to the security front desk to check in. Dress code is comfortable business casual. Long sleeves or a light sweater for a chilly classroom might be a good idea too.
