About the Event

Immersion II are the 2-day sessions conducted on-campus, specifically for Online Nurse Practitioner (NP) students. These focused learning sessions are designed to supplement and complement the first clinical sequence of each NP specialty track. Sessions include student demonstrations of physical assessment skills, hands-on or return demonstrations of specific clinical skills and procedures, as well as support didactic or lecture sessions relevant to each specialty tracks. Specific to Immersion II are sessions with teaching associates- as patients, showing students how to conduct an examination of a male and female patient (GTA and MUTA sessions).
