Since the pandemic, there has been a heightened appreciation for the fragility of
the global economy and the critical role of supply chains. COVID-19 caused widespread
disruptions to supply chains due to shifts in demand, labor shortages and other factors.
Additionally, global political conflicts have further complicated logistics.
The B.S.B. in Global Supply Chain Management blends a strong academic foundation with practical expertise in supply chain methodologies
and techniques. Graduates will be well-prepared for opportunities in businesses of
all sizes, with skills to understand and optimize global supply chains.
Our interdisciplinary approach provides a foundation in key business areas such as management, marketing, finance,
accounting, law, information technology and international business. Students will
also develop leadership, communication, teamwork and collaboration skills through
business core courses.
Housed within Stillman’s Computing and Decision Sciences department, the program is
open to students across the University.
Curriculum
The Global Supply Chain Management major is designed so that students may tailor the
program to fit their interests and ambitions. This program enables students to gain
the knowledge and skills needed to work in the field of supply chain management and
make informed decisions in this field to support smooth and optimal performance in
modern day supply chains.

Career Opportunities
The supply chain major exemplifies the Stillman School of Business’s mission to “transform
concepts into practice,” since it integrates many experiential and extracurricular
opportunities. Students in the major will have the opportunity to participate in supply
chain forums, business consulting projects, internships, mentorships, club activities,
field trips to companies, career fairs and symposiums.
Students will be able to join our student chapter of the Association of Supply Chain
Management (ASCM), where they will have opportunities to hold leadership positions
and participate in several events each semester. These events provide students with
unprecedented networking opportunities which directly impact their ability to get
a head start on their job search.
Students also have the opportunity to work on projects with companies during the fall
and spring semesters and internships during the summers. Over the years, students
have worked on projects and gained internships with Ricola, Hackensack Meridian Hospital
System at Hackensack, University Hospital System at Newark, InBev, L’Oreal, Benjamin
Moore, L’Occitane, NFI Logistics, Bayer to name a few. The Career Center will support
undergraduate supply chain major students in their job search.

Many of our full-time faculty have attended top Ph.D. programs and are in demand as
lecturers, consultants and media experts. Stillman School faculty provide an academic
experience characterized by high faculty-student engagement, often partnering with
students on research and other projects.
