Publications of New Jersey's Business Faculty
Seventeenth Annual Volume
Publications of New Jersey's Business Faculty
Sponsored by The Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University
The Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University proudly presents the seventeenth volume of the Publications of New Jersey's Business Faculty. Production of this volume, which celebrates the intellectual capital at colleges of business within the State of New Jersey, is a natural fit for the School, given our mission of "transforming concepts into business practice." The Stillman School, in sharing current research with others, seeks to improve the learning environment of students and faculty and to enhance the effectiveness of business organizations. We have compiled the research works of business faculty within New Jersey that were published in 2017. We also include teaching notes that summarize examples of ways to connect the classroom to the business world.
We are proud to recognize the very best papers and teaching notes from 2017. These authors have earned the Bright Idea Award for their research. We appreciate the efforts of Dean Andrew P. Rosman (Fairleigh Dickinson University), Dean Edward Petkus (Ramapo College of New Jersey), Dean MaryKate Naataus (Saint Peter's University) and Professor Barbara Boyington (ret., Brookdale Community College), who helped us in the evaluation of the many worthy papers that were submitted. Congratulations to our award winners!

The feedback that we receive about this compilation from the research and business community continues to be strong. Please know that we plan to compile an eighteenth volume, which will celebrate the 2018 calendar year research publications of faculty members from the business colleges in New Jersey. If you should have any works that were published in 2018, please plan to submit these for our compilation. Please watch for the general call, which will occur sometime in March 2019.
