M.B.A. / J.D.

The Seton Hall University Stillman School of Business and School of Law offer a Joint M.B.A. / J.D. Degree Program, combining a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a Juris Doctor (J.D.). This unique dual-degree program leverages the strong intersection of business and law, allowing students to complete both degrees in less time than pursuing each independently. Graduates of this joint program are well-prepared to excel in law firms, corporations, and various legal and business sectors.

In the first year, students follow the traditional first-year School of Law curriculum. In the second and subsequent years, they split their coursework between the Stillman School of Business and the School of Law.

Why Choose the Joint M.B.A. / J.D. Program?

  • Accelerated Path: Complete both degrees faster than pursuing them separately.
  • Career Versatility: Gain expertise in both business and law, enhancing your career opportunities in law firms, corporations, and beyond.
  • Expert Faculty: Learn from industry leaders at both the Stillman School of Business and the School of Law.

Application Process

Interested applicants must hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and apply to both the School of Law and the Stillman School of Business. Applications must be submitted by April 1 of the year of intended admission.

  • Current Law Students: First-year full-time law students may apply for the joint degree program during their first year by submitting an additional application to the Stillman School.
  • Required Exams: Applicants must take either the LSAT or GRE for consideration.
