Mark Fabbi, Ph.D. ’21 Appointed Assistant Dean for Residence Life 

Mark FabbiThe Department of Residence Life at Seton Hall University is excited to welcome our newest member, Mark Fabbi, Ph.D. ‘21, back to his Home at the Hall. Fabbi joined Seton Hall in late January as the new Assistant Dean for Residence Life  

In his capacity as Assistant Dean for Residence Life, Fabbi assumes leadership of the Residence Life team, overseeing all departmental operations and serving as a vital member of the Behavioral Intervention Team (BIT). Drawing from his extensive experience in higher education, including previous roles at Seton Hall University, Rutgers University, St. Bonaventure University, and the Fashion Institute of Technology, Fabbi brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to his new role.

Fabbi previously worked at Seton Hall University as Residence Hall Director for the Complex (Cabrini Hall, Neumann Hall, and Serra Hall) and is excited to return to the Hall. He shared, “Seton Hall isn't just a special place; it's a beacon of belonging, reminding us that no matter where life takes us, our hearts will always find their way back to this cherished community.”

Having received his bachelor’s degree from Temple University, master’s degree from Drexel University, and doctorate degree from Seton Hall University, Fabbi embodies a commitment to academic excellence and student success. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor in the Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration program at Rosemont College, he continues to contribute to the field of higher education through teaching and research.

Associate Dean of Students, Nicole Giglia, Ph.D. ’23, who oversees the residence life and student conduct at Seton Hall, expressed her enthusiasm about Fabbi’s appointment, “Mark’s passion for community development and innovation create a solid foundation for providing strategic vision to the Residence Life department.”
