Interhall Council is a student leadership program under the supervision of the Department of Housing and Residence Life which allows residential student leaders to create events and programs that encourage engagement in the residence halls, while advocating for their peers.

Already, this cohort of students has demonstrated remarkable passion, advocacy, and determination to contribute to the residential community here on campus. First-year representative, Gianna De Meo, shared her perspective as a new addition to the campus community: "Seton Hall is full of fun activities bringing students together from all different organizations. As a member of Interhall Council, I look forward to contributing to the growth of our community as well!"

This upcoming holiday season will prove to be a great opportunity for this cohort of student leaders to showcase their care and energy. Elliot Cavuto, another first-year representative, is ready for the opportunity: "With all the exciting plans we have for the holiday season, I hope we can give our fellow students a jolly time!"

Providing a "living, learning community," HRL offers many leadership opportunities for students within the residence halls. Beyond IHC, students can become involved as Resident Assistants, Desk Assistants, Office Assistants, and attending events grounded in our residential programming model. Interhall Council is eager to collaborate with the campus community and, with plans to focus on mental wellness, are excited to work with campus partners already engaged in this crucial work, such as Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and Dare to Care. Representative Claudia Marino described the group’s mission as "doing anything we can to make campus feel like home."

Congratulations to Adrian, Elliot, Gianna, Nickolas, Claudia, Mikyah, and Krystal. We look forward to your contributions to our Home at the Hall!
