Students sitting on the green.Seton Hall University is excited to announce its eighth annual Giving Day, which will take place from April 9 to 10. Organized by the Division of University Advancement, Seton Hall Giving Day aims to gather support for each school and college, the athletics department, student organizations, scholarships and more. The event has been remarkably successful in recent years, raising more than $2 million from more than 2,200 donors in 2024.

This year’s theme is "Serve Today. Lead Tomorrow. Forever Seton Hall," encouraging the entire university community—alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, friends and families—to unite in 48 hours of philanthropy. With last year’s record-setting achievements, the division is optimistic about the potential impact this year can have in elevating Seton Hall and empowering future generations of students in their educational journeys.

In honor of the university’s founding year, the primary goal is to secure more than 1,856 gifts during the two-day crowdfunding campaign. Every contribution plays a crucial role in creating opportunities for students to excel and develop into leaders in their chosen fields. Participants can support a variety of funds and priorities, including the Resilience, Integrity, Scholarship and Excellence program, the Center for Sports Media, the men's and women’s basketball revenue share, The Joseph A. Unanue Latino Institute and the Immaculate Conception Seminary—along with every school and college.

To enhance the impact of this special day and strengthen campus engagement, the Student Alumni Association will host an on-campus event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, outside the University Center. Student Alumni Association members aim to engage fellow students, encourage them to partake in the initiative and educate them about the importance of philanthropy and its impact on their experience at Seton Hall. The generosity of alumni and donors significantly influences nearly every aspect of student life—from scholarships and classroom resources to athletic facilities and learning spaces.

Seton Hall Giving Day is the university’s most significant day of giving each year, uniting the community to ensure students receive an exceptional education while building upon the institution’s legacy.
