Anca Cotet-Grecu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics and Legal Studies. Prior to her appointment as Assistant Professor, Professor Cotet-Grecu was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics from 2011 to 2013, and prior to that, she was Assistant Professor of Economics at Ball State University from 2007 to 2011. Professor Cotet-Grecu's research centers on program evaluation with a focus on health. Her recent research includes work on the impact of tort regulation, health insurance mandates, and telemedicine regulation on health in the U.S., and she has published articles in the American Law and Economics Review, Health Economics, the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, and the Scandinavian Journal of Economics. Dr. Cotet-Grecu earned the Stillman School's Beck Research Award in the 2013-2014 academic year and received the "Bright Idea Award" in Economics from the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) for her Health Economics publication on medical regulation and health outcomes.
