Chair and Associate Professor, Program Director, Master of Healthcare Administration
Department of Interprofessional Health Sciences and Health Administration
I began my teaching career at Seton Hall University in 2010, where I have had the pleasure of developing and teaching a variety of courses, including Healthcare Data Analytics, Research Methods and Statistical Analysis, Healthcare Policy, Healthcare Economics, and Healthcare Finance. Currently, I serve as the Chair of the Department of Interprofessional Health Sciences and Health Administration and as the Program Director of the Master of Healthcare Administration program.
With over a decade of experience in program development, monitoring and evaluation, maternal and child health and nutrition, and the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV, I have worked with NGOs such as CARE-International, EngenderHealth, and the Francois-Xavier Bagnoud Center at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, as well as consulting for UNICEF. My research has covered topics including population, nutrition, reproductive health, women and children’s health, communication, and training. In 2021, I published my first book, Health Services Research and Analytics Using Excel.
I am fluent in English and Hindi, and my professional journey has taken me to seven countries across Africa and Asia. Additionally, I am a frequent presenter at professional meetings of the Association of University Programs in Health Administration.
