Alumni Scholarship

Awarded selectively to incoming freshmen who are the children, grandchildren or siblings of alumni. The Scholarship is awarded based upon the student’s alumni connection, his/her total academic achievement, and his/her dedication to Seton Hall’s mission. Two, four-year scholarships are awarded annually in the amount of $9,000 each.
Chicago Alumni Memorial Scholarship

Incoming freshman who hold permanent residence in Illinois, have at least a 3.0 GPA (unweighted) and an SAT composite score of 1650 (3 sections) or ACT composite score of 23. Preference is given to students who demonstrate financial need as demonstrated on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The completed application form and your application for admission must be received by December 1.

Forensics, Speech and Debate Scholarship

Application: Forensics, Speech and Debate Scholarship Application (PDF) Incoming freshmen who will participate in Seton Hall's Brownson Speech and Debate Team who display outstanding academic achievement and public speaking ability. These four-year scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who begin in the fall semester after their high school graduation, ranging from $2,000 to $8,000. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA. Application form must be submitted along with application for admission by December 1.
Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship

Incoming freshmen of color with outstanding academic and community service records. These four-year scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who begin in the fall semester after their high school graduation for full-tuition and fees (excluding room and board). Application form must be submitted along with application for admission by scholarship deadline. In order to remain eligible, students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
New Jersey Firefighters Scholarship

Incoming freshmen who are dependant children of career New Jersey firefighters who are FMBA members. These four-year scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who begin in the fall semester after their high school graduation, for $3,000. Pep Band Scholarship

Incoming freshmen who will participate in Seton Hall's Pep Band who display outstanding academic achievement and musical talent. Scholarship given according to instrumental need within the ensemble. These four-year scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who begin in the fall semester after their high school graduation for $3,000. Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. The completed scholarship application form and your application for admission must be received by December 1.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Transfer students who are members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Award is for $2,000. The scholarship is awarded automatically and no special application form is required; however the application for admission, along with proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership, is required.
ROTC Scholarships
Scholarships are available to incoming freshman or transfer students pursuing a commission with the Army, Army Reserve or National Guard. Scholarships are full-tuition and fees or room and board. Servant Leadership Scholarship for Incoming and Current Seton Hall Students

Application: Servant Leader Scholarship Application for Incoming and Current Seton Hall students (PDF) Open to all students who display a competitive academic record and a record of exemplary service and leadership. Awards vary but average $2,400. Scholarship application and application for admission must be received by December 1.
Shannon Foundation Scholarship

Incoming freshmen who are residents of Georgia or Florida, who display a competitive academic record, actively participate in their Catholic parish, and demonstrate financial need as determined by the FAFSA form. These four-year scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who begin in the fall semester after their high school graduation, ranging from $1,000 to $3,000. Scholarship application must be submitted along with supplementary documentation and application for admission by December 1.
Transfer Scholarship
Incoming transfer students who display a competitive academic record. Award ranges from $5,000 to $10,000. Students are automatically considered based on receipt of application for admission. Students are eligible for scholarships if they have a 3.0 GPA, transfer in 24 or more college level credits and enroll full-time at Seton Hall University. In order to remain eligible, students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
University Scholarship Incoming freshmen who have excelled academically. This scholarship is based on a balanced range between GPA and standardized test scores. The range includes a minimum 3.0 GPA (unweighted) and approximately a 1650 SAT (3 sections) or a 23 ACT score. Generally, the higher the academic profile, the higher the scholarship. Award is $8,000 and up. Students are automatically considered based on receipt of application for admission. In order to remain eligible, students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Women's Guild Scholarship

Incoming freshmen or current students interested in Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental, Physician Assistant or Physical Therapy programs. Incoming freshmen Physician Assistant or Physical Therapy applicants must have a minimum of a 1200 on the SAT (with a minimum of 600 on the Critical Reading) and a minimum 3.5 GPA. Incoming freshmen Pre-Med and Pre-Dent applicants must have a minimum of a 1250 on the SAT (with a minimum of 650 on the Critical Reading) and a minimum 3.5 GPA. These scholarships are awarded to incoming freshmen who begin in the fall semester after their high school graduation and range from $4,000 to $5,000. Students must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA. The completed scholarship form and your application for admission must be received by December 1.
Current students should have approximately a 3.8 GPA at SHU and strong science and math grades. Applications for current students can be obtained from Dr. Moldow in the biology department at roberta.moldow@shu.edu.
