This coming month (February 7-March 7) is Student Philanthropy Month and many of the wonderful organizations here on campus are hosting some great fundraising events to spread awareness of their causes. This week we are featuring Consult Your Community (CYC) and the Psychology Club.

CYC is a group of 40 student-consultants who help local small businesses and Alumni around the South Orange area, specifically, women/minority businesses. For Student Philanthropy Month, CYC has just completed their Raffle Fundraiser on February 12, raising over $300. Next week, starting February 19 and running through March, they will be hosting a Trail Mix Sales Competition fundraiser to send their members to the National CYC Conference at Emory University in Atlanta at the end of March.

The Psychology Club is an organization that promotes the importance of mental health and well-being to the entire Seton Hall Community. For Student Philanthropy Month, they are planning to host a Candy Gram fundraiser where students can send candy and a positive message to a friend.

If you are interested in learning more about the CYC and the Psychology Club and in keeping up to date with their upcoming events, give them a follow on Instagram @cyc.shu, @setonhallpsych.
