Life at Seton Hall

Where Leaders Learn to Have Fun

When our students aren't hard at work in the classroom, they're getting involved in the Seton Hall community — learning to lead with heart in campus organizations, participating in activities and making life-long friendships. The friendships you forge in college are very often a part of your life forever.

Ours is an active and bustling residential campus full of life and activity seven days a week. Our students hail from all 50 states and over 70 countries. About half of our undergraduate students live on campus, including 80 percent of our first-year students. Many upperclassmen elect to rent apartments or houses just a few blocks from campus, adding to the richness of student activity and extending our residential community.

Living on campus provides a tremendous opportunity for personal growth and development. It is a place where leaders learn to communicate and appreciate differences, develop respect and personal responsibility as well as cultivate social skills and self-confidence though new experiences. We have six on-campus residence halls and two off-campus apartment buildings. Within the walls of your residence hall room, you'll find more than just a place to sleep and a new roommate, you'll learn what it takes to build a community and truly be part of one. You'll be involved in hall activities and have the guidance and mentorship of your Resident Assistant and the priests living in our residence halls.

You will likely reflect on your years in college as some of the best of your life.

At Seton Hall there are so many ways to make memories on campus:

  • Dance the night away at Groove Boston. We turn our field house into a disco with a laser light show. Over 2,500 students join in for the fun!
  • Ice skate on the lawn – just one of the many activities leading up to holiday fun at Seton Hall.
  • Join one of our over 130 student clubs and organizations – Ski Club, French Club, Psychology Club, Swing Dancing Club, Ecology Club, Amnesty International – just to name a few.
