Call for TLT Center Faculty Fellow/TLT Roundtable Faculty Chair  

The Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center (TLTC) is pleased to announce a call for applications for a TLTR Faculty Chair for a two-year term lasting from July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2023. Interested faculty that meet the requirements below are asked to apply by March 31, 2021.

The Teaching Learning Technology Roundtable, established in 1995, is a consortium of faculty, administrators and students that meets regularly in action teams to discuss institutional issues related to teaching, learning, and technology. Sponsored by the Office of the Provost and the Department of Information Technology, the TLT Roundtable makes recommendations in support of the University’s Strategic Plan as outlined by stake holders such as the Faculty Senate, Academic Affairs, Student Affairs, Student Government Association, the Department of Information Technology, and other key organizations or groups across the University. 

This position includes an annual $10,000 stipend, paid in twelve monthly installments.

Eligibility

• This position is open to all full-time tenured faculty members at Seton Hall or a contract faculty member with at least two years remaining on their contract  
• Endorsement of your department chair and Dean is required. 

Expectations

• The faculty chair will co-chair the TLTR with the Associate Chief Information Officer/Director of the TLT Center.  S/he will be expected to work an average of 7 – 10 hours per week on TLTR activities, which include but is not limited to leading organizational meetings, planning events, conducting research that impacts teaching and learning with technology, and drafting communications related to TLTR activities. 
• The chair will have office space available in the Teaching, Learning, and Technology Center and will be expected to be on campus and conduct TLTR business in that space. 
• The co-chairs will collaborate with the TLT Center to provide a forum for discussion and recommendations to enhance the long-range technology goals through representative participation by various stakeholders such as the faculty, students, Faculty Senate, Academic Affairs, Student Services, Student Government Association, Department of Information Technology, and other key organizations or groups across the University.
• The co-chairs will communicate regularly with all segments of the campus on the TLT Roundtable's activities and progress. 
• The co-chairs will work with the TLTR to create action teams to achieve essential short-term goals deemed necessary by the Executive Committee of the TLT Roundtable, and by their constituencies, advancing to the Provost, recommendations as they emerge from these teams.
