Assistant Dean for Undergraduate and Clinical Education
Department of Speech-Language Pathology

As Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech-Language Pathology, my responsibilities include academic teaching, clinical program/curriculum development, design and implementation, and cultivating community outreach opportunities. I am dedicated to building innovative experiential training opportunities for graduate students involving, technology, hands-on practice and interprofessional experiences across pediatric age groups and populations.

I teach graduate coursework in clinical education, early intervention and diagnostic principles. Prior to my faculty appointment at Seton Hall University, I have had extensive pediatric clinical training as a speech-language pathologist in outpatient rehabilitation hospital, public-school, private practice and Early Intervention settings. My research interests include pediatric feeding disorders in the schools, interprofessional education and practice, clinical supervision, innovative teaching modalities and clinical simulation.

At Seton Hall, I serve as the Vice-Chair for the Directors of Clinical Education (DCE) Committee, and I am a representative on the Faculty Advisory Board (FAB) for Interprofessional Education. My volunteer work includes serving as Chair of the Media and Publications Committee for the New Jersey Speech and Hearing Association (NJSHA), Vice-Chair of the Higher Education Committee of NJSHA and member of the NJSHA State Board of Directors. I am also an elected official on the Board of Directors for the Phoenix Center.

My mission is to foster outstanding academic and clinical excellence in the graduate speech-language pathology program. I am also a proud alumna of Seton Hall University.
